KPN launches Zoniq in Belgium

Zoniq is a direct competitor of Transatel, the pan-European MVNO. Zoniq has defined two zones for attractive roaming tariffs. The first zone includes the main Western European countries. Users can call from these countries for EUR 0.35, incoming calls are charged EUR 0.30. The second zone includes Central, Eastern Europe and North America. Zoniq targets the 0.5 million Belgians that frequently visit foreign countries. KPN has not announced plans to launch Zoniq in the Netherlands or Germany.
